Biotin 1% is a blended product of 1% biotin and 99% mannitol.

Biotin (also known as Vitamin B7), is a water-soluble vitamin that is involved in vital metabolic processes necessary for a healthy metabolism, such as gluconeogenesis. In the human body, biotin serves as a cofactor responsible for carbon dioxide transfer in several carboxylase enzymes that function in metabolizing fats, proteins and carbohydrates.

Biotin is not produced in the human body and must be obtained in the diet.

Supplementation of biotin may help support healthy neurological and metabolic function.
