I have tried energy drinks, caffeine pills and various other stimulates but nothing worked. This caffeine powder is great. It give you an immediate and long energy rush. Great for pre workout or just for staying awake at work. You can control exactly how much caffeine you need without all the sugar and other junk found in energy drinks (Posted on 4/9/13)Quality - Review by Vincent

I must take a medication that leaves me dragging. Doc tried to give me some Rx stimulant but I don't like taking pills. Neither do I want to have a dependence on something I have to beg a doctor for.Quality
I started consuming caffeine from different sources. Drinking coffee is fine if one want coffee but not because of "need". Caffeine candy was a big hit with me but it is very expensive and has the crash effect. I was hesitant but finally bought 100 g of pure powder caffeine.
I bought a cheap mg scale and some mannitol powder. I weigh out one part caffeine and two parts mannitol and chop it up a little so it all mixes together. I take the concoction like a headache powder and wash it down with sometimes decaffeinated coffee haha.
I can tell you this is the real deal. Understand this is pure caffeine. It does not contain other chemicals found in some "energy" drinks. Which is not necessarily good to take in high doses. They do give the drinks or candy an extra kick which leads to a crash.
I find less if not any crash with pure. The candy I was using before would drop me like a hot potato(e) and I would need more candy.
Next I plan to try natural coffee bean caffeine since it's said it has even less of a crash. Plus is said to contain antioxidants which may or not be true but I am going to take it anyway. (Posted on 3/11/13) - Review by Branden

Works exactly the way it should, good amount of energy up front without the crash of energy drinks, but rather a tapering off of energy. A good buy for anyone who is needing to stay awake but doesn't want to deal with expensive energy drinks. (Posted on 2/20/13)Quality - Review by Ted
