Details
Chondroitin sulfate is a sulfated glycosaminoglycan composed of a chain of alternating sugars (N-acetylgalactosamine and glucuronic acid). It is usually found attached to proteins as part of a proteoglycan. Chondroitin sulfate is an important structural component of cartilage, a component of connective tissues, such as joints.
Supplementation of chondroitin may help support healthy connective tissues.

Suggested Use
As a dietary supplement, take 750 mg (rounded 1/ 4 tsp) twice daily, or 1500 mg (heaping 1/ 2 tsp) daily, or as directed by physician.
When using chondroitin sulfate in conjunction with glucosamine, the typical serving size is 1200 milligrams of chondroitin and 1500 milligrams of glucosamine daily in divided servings.
