Glutathione is a crystalline and water soluble tripeptide composed of the amino acids glutamate, cysteine and glycine. It exists in reduced and oxidized forms. Purebulk offers the reduced form (conventionally called glutathione and abbreviated GSH). The oxidized form is known as glutathione disulfide or GSSG.

Reduced glutathione tripeptide works as an antioxidant, protecting tissue by neutralizing free radical molecules in the body that can damage cellular components.

Supplementation of glutathione may help support healthy metabolism and the immune system.
