    This pharmaceutical grade amino acid L-Glutamine (commonly referred to as Glutamine) is assayed by the manufacturer to be 99.6% product. You will receive a double sealed labeled bulk polyethylene bag containing 1.5 kilograms of this white powder product. One and a half kilograms is also one thousand five hundred grams, or 1500 grams, or approximately 3.307 pounds, or approximately 52.911 ounces by weight. You will not receive the fancy retail packaging, but you will receive a great deal at or below wholesale prices for a high purity bulk quantity of this product. This product dissolves quickly in water and has very little taste. Just mix your usual dose with water or juice and drink.

    L-Glutamine is typically taken by weight lifters and performance athletes wanting to reduce fat and maximize muscle mass. Blood levels of L-Glutamine will fall significantly after strenuous exercise and will stay low until complete recovery. Supplementation with L-Glutamine can reduce the recovery time following your demanding work-outs by increasing muscle protein synthesis and counteracting catabolic processes. L-Glutamine availability by supplementation is a key factor in muscle growth and the anterior petuitary gland secretion of human growth hormone, also essential for building muscle mass. Recommended doses for L-Glutamine vary between 2 grams and 5 grams per single dose taken 2 or 3 times per day for a total combined daily dose of between 4 grams and 15 grams.
