L-Isoeucine Amino Acid, 250 grams
    This pharmaceutical grade amino acid L-Isoeucine (commonly referred to as Leucine) is assayed by the manufacturer to be 99.9% product. You will receive a double sealed labeled bulk polyethylene bag containing 250 grams of this white powder product. Two hundred and fifty grams is also 250 grams, or approximately 8.818 ounces by weight. You will not receive the fancy retail packaging, but you will receive a great deal at or below wholesale prices for a high purity bulk quantity of this product. Pure bulk L-Isoeucine powder is not easily soluable in water and has a bitter taste. The best way to take L-Isoeucine powder is mixed, or blended with and suspended within a protein shake.

    L-Isoeucine is an essential branch chain amino acid. As an essential amino acid it cannot me synthesised in human physiology but must me consumed in food or as a dietary supplement to maintain proper health. L-Isoeucine is the fourth most abundant amino acid in human skeletal muscles, and it comprises about 12% of all proteins in the human body. L-Isoeucine is typically taken by weight lifters and performance athletes wanting to reduce fat and maximize muscle mass. Blood levels of L-Isoeucine will fall significantly after strenuous exercise and will stay low until complete recovery. Supplementation with L-Isoeucine one hour before strenuous workouts can reduce the recovery time by increasing muscle protein synthesis and counteract catabolic processes.

    The typically recommended dose for L-Isoeucine varies between 1 grams and 2 grams per single dose taken 1 or 2 times per day for a total combined daily dose of between 1 grams and 4 grams. One level teaspoon (5 cc) of L-Isoeucine will be equivalent to about 2.0 grams.
