Caution: Because of the extremely small serving size for this product and the potential for toxicity of overconsumption, please do not purchase manganese gluconate unless you are a compounding pharmacist or other health practice professional. We request that you contact us via email at email@example.com prior to purchasing this product to let us know why you are qualified to purchase, handle and measure this product safely. Please observe extreme caution when measuring and handling manganese gluconate! As a dietary supplement, take 100 mg a day. Use an accurate milligram scale, not a measuring spoon. The FDA recommends a daily intake (DV) of 2 milligrams (mg) per day of elemental manganese. Elemental refers to the amount of manganese in a compound. As this supplement is 11% elemental manganese, taking 100 milligrams of manganese gluconate powder will yield 11 milligrams elemental manganese, or 550% of the daily value for adults.
Manganese gluconate can potentially be toxic, so extreme care should be exercised when measuring this product for individual use and dietary supplementation. We do not recommend using volumetric measuring techniques because, apart from the quantitative skills required, measuring spoon methods for determining milligram equivalents can be highly inaccurate. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MEASURE THIS PRODUCT USING MEASURING SPOONS OF ANY KIND!
The only safe way to determine such a small amount of this product will be using an accurate milligram weight scale.
