N,N Dimethylglycine (DMG) Powder, 250 grams
    This food grade N,N Dimethylglycine is a bulk powder product consisting of very fine white granular crystals. You will receive a labeled heavy-duty 4 mil polyethylene bag containing 250 grams of this bulk powder product. Two hundred and fifty grams is also 250 grams, or approximately 8.818 ounces by weight. You won't receive the fancy retail packaging, but you will receive a great deal at or below wholesale prices for a high purity bulk quantity of this product.

    N,N Dimethylglycine, or DMG, is an N,N-dimethylated form of the amino acid Glycine with a chemical structure similar to choline. I also carry Betaine Anhydrous, which is similarly a methyl donor. DMG will readily dissolve in hot water, but not cold, and has a pleasantly mild, almost sweet, taste.

    N,N Dimethylglycine (DMG) can boost the immune system, can improve cellular oxygen utilization, and can act as an antioxidant by stimulating the proliferation of lymphocytes and thereby boosting interferon production. Because DMG can significantly increase cellular oxygen utilization it can also act to accelerate the neutralization of lactic acid build-up in muscle tissues following strenuous exercise and physical workouts. DMG helps many athletes perform longer with increased endurance and decreased recovery times following strenuous physical activity. As a methyl donor, DMG assists the conversion of homocysteine to methionine which in turn converts to SAMe. DMG has recently been studied with positive results in the treatment of adults and children with autism, and DMG has also been used to treat children with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), improving speech and tolerance to frustration within 24 to 48 hours following DMG supplementation.

    The commonly recommended dose for N,N Dimethylglycine (DMG) varies from as little as 100 milligrams 1 to 3 times per day to as much as 500 milligrams or more taken 1 to 3 times per day. On level 1/8 teaspoon contains about 355 milligrams DMG and can be taken two to three times per day for best results.
