Pomegranate Extract (90% Ellagic Acid) is a pure extract of the pomegranate and contains at least 90% ellagic acid.
Ellagic acid is a naturally occurring phenolic compound that has antioxidant properties. It is concentrated in raspberries, grapes, and nuts and is also present in strawberries, pomegranates and cranberries.
Antioxidants protect the body from free radical molecules that can damage cell membranes. Free radicals are a byproduct created as the body changes oxygen and food into energy.
Ellagic acid supports detoxifying enzymes in the liver, which in turn promote the cleansing of the liver and the protection of liver cells. It also inhibits oxygen free radicals that can damage cells.

Suggested Use
Individual needs vary. As a dietary supplement, take 25 mg up to 500 mg (or 3/26 tsp) two times daily, or as directed by a physician.
