As a dietary supplement, take 10 mg to 46 mg daily (or as directed by physician). Use ONLY an accurate milligram scale to measure!
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends a Daily Value (DV) of 400 IU for adults and children four or more years of age. A serving of just 4 milligrams (mg) of Purebulk's Vitamin D3 100,000 IU/g will provide 100 % of the Daily Value. A serving size of 10 milligrams(mg) will provide 1000 IU or 250% of the Daily Value(DV). A serving size of 46 mg will provide 5000 IU or 1250% of the DV.
At 100,000 IU per gram, the suggested serving size is extremely small! Because Vitamin D3 can potentially be TOXIC if taken in excess, extreme care should be exercised when measuring this product. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MEASURE THIS PRODUCT USING MEASURING SPOONS OF ANY KIND! The only safe way to measure this product for individual use will be using an accurate milligram weight scale.
