D-Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium provides glucosamine, an amino derivative of the simple sugar glucose.
Glucosamine is involved in the synthesis of specialized molecules such as glycosaminoglycans and glycolipids. In addition, glucosamine plays an important role as an intermediate in the biosynthetic pathway of proteoglycans, the main building blocks of connective tissue and cartilage.
Supplementation of glucosamine may help support healthy connective tissues.
PureBulk's D-Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium is derived from shellfish.
