Niacin, also called nicotinic acid or Vitamin B3, is a water-soluble member of the complex of B vitamins. Niacin is one of the most stable of the B vitamins owing to the fact that it is resistant to the effects of heat, light, air, acid and alkali.

PureBulk offers two forms of Vitamin B3 that are commonly used as supplements: niacin and niacinamide. The chemical difference between the two forms is that niacinamide has an amide group attached to the basic niacin form. Both compounds can be converted into the coenzymes NAD+, NADP+, NADH and NADPH, playing key roles in energy metabolism and anabolism
